This deck is huge—and our homeowners have great taste and love to entertain, which made this project a designer’s dream. The goal was to take an already large outdoor deck and make it more functional, intentional, and better suited for hosting.
We reworked the deck stair layout so it flowed naturally with the center patio, squared off the end of the deck where a dated gazebo once stood to gain even more usable space, and transformed an awkward multi-level deck into a layout that feels more level, cohesive, and purposeful. To round things out, we added barn doors on both sides of the lower deck, finished with tongue-and-groove paneling, creating private storage and a stylish pass-through to the driveway.
The result is a large custom deck that’s designed to entertain—comfortable, functional, and ready for a crowd.
