Modern Charm: Home Remodel in Fairfield CT

This unique renovation had the kitchen in the lower level of the house, but the cabinets were new, and the primary bathroom was where the kitchen should be. So we redesigned the layout using what we could of the existing kitchen cabinetry, and incorporated new Fabuwood Galaxy Nickel cabinetry where we needed to add cabients in the new space.  By doing this, we opened up the wall to make the kitchen more open concept, installed new wood floors and refinished to match the existing.  We Installed new Quartzite counters from JF Granite and new homeowner provided backsplash tile and tile on the new mudroom floor to transition the the wood floors.  We also created a new primary suite.
